The curious connection between hotels and hospitals

However, over the past decade, hospital owners have researched hotels and resorts, and have begun to incorporate a number of aspects in the construction or renovation of their own healthcare establishments.

The architecture of hospitals has also taken a turn towards hotel-esque accommodations.  Many hospital rooms nowadays resemble suites in world-class hotels and resorts.  Even the places in hotels open to the public are arranged in such a way that visitors who enter get a vacation vibe.

This is all well and good since a hospital stay is normally a stressful time.  And if there’s any establishment that can take the stress away from people, it’s a hotel.
